The inspiration for this journal is Rumi's observation that "there are hundreds of ways to kneel and kiss the ground", from his poem "Spring Giddiness"
Hi there. A friend of mine noticed that my photos and artwork are on your blog. I'm happy to see that you like this project. It is fun for me to see it after so much time has passed. I think I am due for another trip to the Forest of Wishes. Would you add to this post some text that lets your readers know where you sourced the images. I'm okay with you posting these images on your blog, but as a professional courtesy, please include the following. The images on this blog post is the work of Kathryn Antyr, Collage Diva. Thank you so much. If you have any questions, please feel free to send me an e-mail.
This is a place where I plop anything that tickles my fancy (which is an infinite number of things). I hope something tickles yours too. Thanks for visiting! Anita
Today, like every other day, we wake up empty and frightened. Don't open the door to the study and begin reading. Take down a musical instrument. Let the beauty we love be what we do. There are hundreds of ways to kneel and kiss the ground." ... Jalahad Rumi
... Rumi reminds me of the infinite number of ways to express one's self: with music, painting, poetry, journaling, collage, dancing. It's infinite.
... I also like to remind myself of Gandhi's words "Be the change you want to see in the world."
