And more art journal lessons

More by Paula... in looking at all her pages, it gives me the impression of trying 1001 DIFFERENT techniques.... like that exercise they give in creative thinking: to list all the uses for a pencil, and you're rated on how many different CATEGORIES of uses you can come up with. Paula similarly comes up with SO MANY ways to get words and images onto paper. That would be a great challenge to see how many DIFFERENT approaches to take

Lesson1: b/w/gold palette, neat b/w image half cut off, journaled on edge of it...artist says she used a Pitt pen
Lesson: blue patterned paper as background, taped on typewriter font saying (vertical), neat visual on right page (it's fabric, she says)... text cut into rows on left page

Lesson ... awesome palette... well balanced (nix the butterfly) ... nice black ripped paper background of the vintage b/w photo. The quote on the right page could be printed on printer

Lesson. Pretty blue/tan palette. I like the blue handdone font, and the bird, and the rest of the text fitting in between it.

Lesson: Cheery palette of aqua, pint, orange, yellow... a rainbow with major splotches of the aqua and pink...like the "live strong" fond... and the white on gray callout...nix the flag border and the angel girl.
