paste paper recipe

I'm going to make paste paper. These images inspire me to try different approaches ... beyond the diagonal combing I've done so much of ... above is simply stroking on with brush

RECIPE: I've just finished making paste with this recipe: 1. Mix 1/4c cornstarch with 1/4water 2. Add 1 c water and cook til thick 3. Take off heat and stir in 1/2 c water. 4. Pour into a container to cool To USE: mix 4 parts paste to 1 part paint , wet the paper... work on plexiglass smooth surface...apply paintpaste and swirl around
