YIKES. hp2004 going bad

Yikes. I'm worried. 2 days ago, B. pointed out that the old laptop is fritzing out. I can't get it to stay up long enuf to copy important things to a thumb drive. I hope that I can salvage something. I know I did a complete system backup to the external harddrive a couple years ago, and snapshot backups of doc's and pictures more recently, but not sure. I gotta look in what has been salvaged, and see if I can get it running long enough to salvage the rest. YIKES.
