More Art Journal Lessons

More Art Lessons from Blissfully, most from Shay
Lesson: Shay doesn't really "journal"... it is about art, about images, maybe just a line or two of sometimes obscure copy. Not as much of a journal as artwork. Just realized it now. Many others have much more journaling. (I do)... but that impedes the art... there is amazement at how much Shay produces, but keep in mind that she doesn't journal PLUS do art. She does art. I think I might try that.
Lesson... I could do typewriter font if I were to feed my painted page into the printer... i.e. NOT bind the journal until AFTER the artwork is complete, and get this same effect.
Lesson...vivid colors of paint... truly a painted piece with interesting mix of colors.
Lesson: no journaling. simple palette grey/red... only the tiny splash of red.
Lesson: vivid orange palette. This is truly a beautiful painting. orange/yellow,black. If such a thing could be fed into the printer, there'd be the typewriter font. If not, you could paint a small piece of paper orange and send it thru the printer.
Lesson... rely on glued images only... abstract photo (mysterious...not something you recognize) and cut out words. palette: black/brown
Lessons: Palette yellow,orange,red... paint and collage...another gorgeous painting. Shay is an artist, not so much a journaler
Lesson: Layout is pleasing. Palette is limited (green, yellow, tan). Nice stamped image.
Layout is great. Palette stark: b/w/red/green. obscure photo ... white font on black. Obscure poetic words. Mysterious. Not obvious what it means.
white font on black. obscure images... obscure message... mysterious
fresh thought. Palette limited and nice abstract layout. obscure image. white font on peach.
